01 — Challenge
Brink’s speakers sounded great, but setup took eleven steps. Support tickets spiked after every launch.
Each app screen was designed from scratch, so engineers rebuilt the same parts again and again.
02 — Approach
We cut setup to four steps and tested each one with new owners at home.
Then we built a shared design system with 120 components, named the same way in Figma and code.
03 — Result
Build time for new features dropped by half. Setup support tickets fell by a third.
The app now holds a 4.7 rating, up from 3.9.
